The Aperture Club is excited to be involved in the ‘Bays Precinct Discovery Day’ next Sunday, 12 April 2015.
You will be entertained by a FREE program of activities at key Discovery Sites, including Blackwattle Bay, Rozelle Bay, Glebe Island, White Bay Power Station, as well as White Bay Cruise Terminal.
The Aperture Club will be positioned at the dramatic White Bay Power Station where we are offering FREE 20 minute photography workshops, come and say hello.
We have 3 different workshops for you to choose from. No matter what your photography passion we’re sure to have something to suit. Join us as we explore the dramatic backdrop of the White Bay Power Station and the surrounding areas and activities being held as part of this unique one-off event.
Three workshops options;
1). Urban Landscape Photography
The industrial grandeur of the White Bay Power Station is our backdrop for this unique landscape photography workshop. Join The Aperture Club’s professional photographers and learn how to capture this inspiring scene with simple quick win techniques to produce creative and expressive images you will be proud of.
2). Photography Up Close
Get up close and personal on this creative photography workshop. Learn how to photograph everyday objects and turn them into real or abstract art. The Aperture Club’s professional photographers will guide you around the White Bay site and inspire you with simple techniques that are easy to apply.
3). Action in Photography
Freeze action and motion and tell a story through the art form of photography. With the powerful presence of the industrial White Bay Power Station, this Aperture Club photography workshop will give you the skills to capture action and interpret your environment your own way. Tell a story, your interpretation, with the power of the photograph.
No advanced registration is required, we have 6 professional photographers operating workshops every 10 minutes from 10am to 5pm. We hope to see you there.
